1DS practiced recognizing and solving math facts related to doubles as we played the game called "Race to the Top". Using a die, partners took turns shaking the die, creating a double (for example, if a student rolled a 3, the double was 3+3) and calculating the sum of the double. For each double shook, a box was crossed off and the race was on. Which doubles sum would make it to the top!? Math is fun!
