End of Year SPACE Party!
What a great year! And to cap it all off, our fantastic 1DS parents treated us to a Solar System themed party complete with snacks, marshmallow robots, out of this world necklaces and a dance. Big thanks to room mom's Paula and Michele for organizing :)

Off to Reading Buddies in our PJ's
1DS celebrated our final get together with hot cocoa and marshmallows, popcorn and movie in our comfortable PJ's. Thanks 4SM for the special cards you gave us too!! We really enjoyed our time together :)

Sharing our Realistic Fiction Stories
Making a decision regarding which story is worthy of publication can be a difficult endeavor. Having a buddy to help is always a good idea. We shared all of our realistic fiction rough drafts with a buddy and received some very valuable feedback, including which they recommended for publishing. Thanks buddies!
Shadows
IDS investigated the way in which our shadows change as the time of day shifts. We wondered why is our shadow so small at noon and then much longer at the end of the school day? And in the morning, why is our shadow on one side of us, and then changes to the other as the day goes on? We are moving, yes indeed!
