Living Things Materials Exploration

IDS donned our junior scientist's caps and set to work exploring materials for our new unit, Living Things.  Seed dissection, crumbly soil, dried and soaked beans, plants and a new class pet fish were the objects of our close scrutiny as we used all of our senses to describe and record what we observed.  It was fun, it was messy and above all, informative as only first hand, hands on experiences can be!
