Identity-the final right

Identity is the final right of a child we are learning about in our current inquiry unit.  We found out there are five major religions in the world and each has special characteristics that make it both unique and similar to the others.  We played a matching game to organize our thinking and help us to remember these features.

Swimming Unit Reminder!

Just a reminder that first grade will begin their swimming unit tomorrow!  Please send your child with a swimming suit, goggles, swim cap (for those with long hair), and towel in a separate bag.  Thanks!

Ghala Hike-Come Join Us!

What a beautiful and amazing place!  Discover Oman kicked off this week with our morning field trip to Ghala Village.  We explored the intricacies of the falaj water system, marveled at the wonders of our earth that naturally generates hot springs, followed a gorgeous trail up the mountain over rock and shrub and came together at the top for a breath of wonderful fresh air and a view that can't be beat!  Enjoy the pictures of your children taking in the wonders of Oman.
